The best time to catch tonight’s meteor shower

Victorians will be able to see a dazzling meteor shower when it peaks tonight.

Astronomer at Monash University, associate professor Michael Brown, says Victorians can expect to see shooting stars and fireballs.

“It will last for a couple of hours … you want to be in the darkest place possible, if you’re near the CBD, you’re not going to see nearly as many,” he told Mark Allen and Jimmy Bartel.
