Tom Elliott says Australians should be included in the discussion of immigration following a debate on how many immigrants should be let in each year.

“It’s one of those issues that politicians make on our behalf, they never ask us, they never actually say ‘Do Australians want a population which is smaller, the same or bigger than what it currently is,” he said.
