‘The biggest disappointments in the comp’: Ando casts his eyes over the non-finalists

While most of the footy world turns its attention to the finals, for 10 teams it’s the end of the line.

Ando this morning conducted a post-mortem of the clubs taking an early holiday.

NORTH MELBOURNE: I’d be highly encouraged if I was a North Melbourne supporter.

PORT ADELAIDE: They recruited for a premiership.

ESSENDON: I actually quite like Essendon’s list. They’ve got pace and couple of fairly handy key position players.

ADELAIDE CROWS: Probably the biggest disappointments in the competition.

WESTERN BULLDOGS: Disappointing.

FREMANTLE: They do not score enough to be a final eight challenger.

BRISBANE LIONS: I think they had an encouraging year. You can see the path there.

ST KILDA: Need to catch a tram.

GOLD COAST SUNS: Just going.

CARLTON: They’ve just become a rabble.
