The case for giving Australia’s renters more help

The push is on for more to be done to help Australia’s renters.

Joel Dingham is the executive director at Better Renting and said too much power lay with landlords.

“I don’t think it’s a no-strings situation,” he said.

“When you are providing housing for somebody, and providing an essential service, then there are responsibilities that come with that.”
