The comment from the Visit Victoria CEO which Tom Elliott found ‘utterly stupid’

A comment from Visit Victoria CEO Brendan McClements on the Commonwealth Games has been deemed “utterly stupid” by Tom Elliott.

McClements was asked by Liberal MP David Davis about whether scrapping the Commonwealth Games had had a bad impact on Victoria’s reputation, with his answer leaving the 3AW Drive host dumbfounded.

“It is the most ludicrous, public servant, utopia type of answer you could possibly imagine,” he said.
