The comments from Anthony Albanese which Jacqui Felgate found ‘truly astonishing’

Jacqui Felgate

Jacqui Felgate has called out Prime Minister Anthony Albanese for a lack of leadership in response to the firebombing of a synagogue in Ripponlea on Friday.

Albanese held a media conference this afternoon, and the 3AW Drive host thought the Prime Minister said some “truly astonishing” things.

“I don’t think this is close to good enough,” she said.

State opposition leader John Pesutto then joined the program and said the Prime Minister should’ve been in Melbourne on the weekend, and then went on to explain why he wants parliament to be recalled.

“If I were Premier today, I would recall parliament straight away, get this job done to keep people safe,” Pesutto said.
