The conundrum facing Carlton’s coaching panel this week

Leigh Matthews says he expects Carlton to select Harry McKay this week to make his return from injury after a month on the sidelines, but has again expressed concern about what that could mean for the Blues inside 50.

In early April, Matthews said he was concerned about Carlton’s reliance on the twin towers. The Blues haven’t lost while McKay has been out of the team.

“I suspect they will probably play him, because he can be weapon, but you would be hoping he helps, rather than hinders,” Matthews said.
