Exponential growth of scams is being blamed for increasing wait times for customers as they try to get in contact with their banks.
Chief executive officer of Consumer Action Law Centre, Stephanie Tonkin, says with the scam crisis as bad as it is, banks need to do more.
“It’s not just about reimbursement of the costumers, it’s about the financial incentive of banks to invest in better protections and better responses,” she told Tom Elliott.
