The dangerous habit putting drivers at risk on the roads
One in four drivers have admitted to squinting while driving, equaling to four million Australians according to a study by health insurer Bupa, which is putting drivers and other road users at risk of an accident.
Head of Clinical at Bupa Optical, Karen Makin, has explained why drivers do this and implored drivers to get their eyes tested.
“It puts yourself and others at a lot of risk,” Ms Makin told Ross and Russel.
