Neil Mitchell says it’s “time for an adult conversation” about Australia’s “dangerous” debt.

The Australian reports today that combined state and federal debt is expected to reach $166bn this financial year.

“We are paying as much to service the debt as we spend on our defence service!,” Neil Mitchell said. “We’ve got to be adults and look at this now or the kids of tomorrow will pay.”
