Two of The Project’s hosts have apologised after queer comedian Reuben Kaye made a crude Jesus joke last week.

On Wednesday, Waleed Aly and Sarah Harris apologised to viewers for the “deeply and needlessly offensive” gag.

But Peter Ford says there’s one detail which makes him “wonder if that apology was in any way sincere”.
