The eight seats the Victorian Electoral Commission is “keeping a close eye on”

The Victorian Electoral Commission is hoping to reveal who’s won down-to-the-wire seats including Hawthorn and Ripon “over the next few days”.

Sue Lang, director of communication and engagement, told Neil Mitchell the VEC would likely declare more than 30 seats on Friday.

As for the nailbiters?

“We’ve got a close eye on about eight seats, at the moment,” she said on 3AW Mornings.

Those seats include;

• Bayswater
• Brunswick
• Hawthorn
• Mildura
• Nepean
• Prahran
• Ripon
• Sandringham
