The extra security measures being put in place at Monash University after activists crash protest
Victoria Police has erected a mobile surveillance unit after activists hijacked what was a peaceful protest at Monash University on Wednesday.
Police were called to the campus when pro-Palestinian activists allegedly swore and abused Jewish students as they walked past.
3AW Drive host Jacqui Felgate wonders whether it’s time for protesters to need to permit to protest, and Monash University Vice Chancellor Professor Sharon Pickering spoke on the issue facing the university.
