The ‘extraordinary’ crime statistic Melbourne leads Sydney in

Tom Elliott has been taken aback by “extraordinary” recently released retail crime figures in Victoria.

Latest numbers reveal in 2023 there were over 18,000 separate instances of retail crime in the state, a much higher number compared to New South Wales.

“There are some extraordinary figures here,” Tom said on 3AW Mornings.

“Victoria last year had almost 19,000 serious retail crime events.”
