The eyewatering amount Australians say they’d need to ‘feel rich’

The average Australian said they would need to earn a salary of $326,900 per annum to feel “rich”, according to a survey.

That figure is nearly seven times greater than the median personal income.

Taylor Blackburn, personal finance expert at Finder, told Tom Elliott the figure varied between different sections of society.

“It’s all relative,” he said.
