Bid to ‘ban’ Vegemite at school ‘complete and utter nonsense’

The family of the inventor of Vegemite says any suggestion the much-loved spread is unhealthy is “complete and utter nonsense.”

New South Wales is considering  a plan to ban Vegemite at school canteens, along with pies and schnitzels.

“It’s laughable, really,” Jamie Callister, grandson of Cyril Callister, told Ross and John.
