The Fitzroy cafe phasing out take-away coffee
Fitzroy cafe Napier Quarter is phasing out take-away coffee.
The cafe no longer wants to be a part of the estimated one billions coffee cups Australians go through every year.
Cafe owner Daniel Lewis told Nick McCallum it’s also about bringing a bit of restraint back to our coffee culture.
“We started thinking about taking the time to sit down, take five minutes, and enjoy the ritual itself,” he said.
Napier Quarter’s last take away coffee will be sold on December 21.
