The flu, the common cold and gastro are back with a vengeance.
Health authorities are bracing for an expected wave of cases after the illnesses were largely kept at bay for the past two years because of COVID-19 restrictions and lockdowns.
Professor Rhonda Stuart, Director of Monash Health Infection Prevention and Director of the Monash Public Health Unit, told Ross and Russel people would be exposed to bugs as they move around.
She also said gastro was on the rise, particularly among kids.
