The fresh Nick Kyrgios comments dividing opinion ahead of tennis return

Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios is back in the headlines after making a serious of controversial observations on a recently-released podcast.

In a wide-ranging chat with presenter Louis Theroux, the 29-year-old said doubted whether the pyramids are man-made, while also touching on other topics such as the moon landing and questioning if the earth is flat.

Ahead of his much-anticipated return to tennis at the Australian Open in January, Kyrgios’ comments prompted Wide World of Sports host Sam McClure to wonder whether he is turning people off the sport.
