The ‘heartwarming’ experience a Melbourne mother had on a Virgin flight
A Melbourne mother has detailed the “heartwarming” experience she had on a Virgin flight earlier this week.
Kim says the flight attendants took her son and helped him get to sleep after an engineering issue saw them stuck on the tarmac for an hour.
“They took him, and he was crying … to the back of the plane, playing with him, fanning him down because he was a bit hot and I kept looking back and within 10 minutes he was asleep,” she told Jacqui Felgate.

Cabin crew member, Matthew Satogi who helped Kim with her son, says it was instinct to help.
” I’m a uncle of … two nieces and seven nephews, so it was just a natural instinct to take the baby and calm him down,” he said.
