The ‘hidden gem’ Melbourne suburbs where property buyers can nab a bargain

Property buyers looking for a bargain could strike it lucky by looking in ‘sub-suburbs’ like Princes Hill, Warranwood, Seaholme, Kinsbury and Bellfield in 2022.

One property expert says little known suburbs which are overshadowed by better known neighbouring suburbs are “hidden gems”.

“I think Warranwood is a prime example of a suburb that not a lot of people know about, but it’s surrounded by some phenomenal suburbs and it is relatively cheap compared,” chief executive of Phillip Webb, Anthony Webb, told 3AW Breakfast.

“What a lot of people have got to do when they’re looking for a property and looking for that bargain is just really spread their search a little bit.

“These suburbs are hidden gems for a reason. It can be quite hard to get people to actually search and look in these areas because they don’t know.”
