The historic first coming to TV this Sunday

A historic broadcast of a Broadway play is set to take place on Sunday morning.

George Clooney’s play Good Night, and Good Luck will air in Australia on CNN at 9am on Sunday, marking the first time a live musical has been aired globally.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford said he was excited to see how the unique broadcast would play out.

“This is a historic TV first, it’s never been done before,” he said on 3AW Breakfast.
