Australia’s love affair with utes and SUVs shapes an issue in the electric vehicle car market, because there aren’t any available here.

It’s claimed the arrival of electric utes and 4WDs in Australia would help in uptick.

Sandra McKay from the National Transport Commission said all the data showed that hole in the market needed to be filled.
