Britain’s “greatest ever sportsperson” has been presented with a huge opportunity to make a serious run at the Australian Open title, says a leading broadcaster.

Catherine Whitaker told 3AW’s Wide World of Sports if Murray could defeat Australian Thanasi Kokkinakis tonight, the draw had suddenly become wide open.
