The idea from Crime Stoppers to deal with youth crime which Tom Elliott thinks won’t work

Crime Stoppers want teenagers to dob in their criminal friends to the police in an effort to reduce the rate of youth crime in Victoria.

Tom Elliott doubts this idea will work, pointing out the real problem which is “very dispiriting” for the police force.

“I don’t know how they think this is going to work,” he said.
