The idea from Jess Wilson that Jacinta Allan shut down immediately

New state opposition leader Jess Wilson has addressed her plan to rein in the state’s debt.

Ms Wilson wrote to Premier Jacinta Allan yesterday about an idea to tackle the debt ahead of next year’s budget.

But the state Labor leader rejected the idea “outright without any consideration”.

“This was an idea that we put to the premier to say, let’s get on top of it before the next budget,” Ms Wilson told Tom Elliott.
