The insane delays Melburnians are facing amid road works

Melburnians are facing painful delays while driving to and from the state’s west as a result of road works.

3AW Drive’s Jacqui Felgate has been told of the “traffic nightmare” commuters are facing due to the current West Gate Tunnel project.

“We’re building (the West Gate Tunnel) but it’s not due to finish in late 2025,” Jacqui said on 3AW.

“And it’s now over four billion dollars over budget. Is this traffic nightmare life as we know it now?”

Caller Rhiannon, who lives in the west, told Jacqui she’s looking to sell her house as a result of the frequent delays.
