Rock royalty Oasis’ first shows in 16 years have opened to rave reviews, but entertainment reporter Pete Ford thinks there’s still some tension between brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher.

The duo’s long-awaited reunion tour began over the weekend, opening with two critically-acclaimed gigs in Cardiff.

But despite the much-publicised feud between the brothers appearing over, Pete Ford says there’s still plenty going on behind the scenes to keep the pair separated between concerts.

Press PLAY to hear Pete Ford’s take on Oasis’ opening performances

“People are raving about the (opening shows),” he said on 3AW Breakfast.

“But there still seems to be a big division between (Liam and Noel Gallagher).”

Oasis will be in Melbourne later this year, playing three dates at Marvel Stadium in October and November.
