The 3AW Mornings host said, “When I went to school, we sang the national anthem at least once every week.”

“The Northern Territory government, I think, has made a positive step,” he added.

National Secretary of the Teachers Association of Victoria, Edward Schuller, told 3AW Mornings, ” I think you see it throughout our education system.”

“There needs to be widespread reform because we’re sort of only taught, we’re only teaching children one side of our history.”
