The keys to attracting young people into hospitality
Young Australians have told a survey training and development opportunities, as well as “progressive workplace culture” would attract them to hospitality.
There are critical labour shortages in the sector, currently.
Kimberley Malcolm, Senior Manager of Industry Engagement at the Australian Hotel Association, told Tom Elliott it was a common misconception that there wasn’t a “career” in the sector.
“There are so many different career paths in hospitality, it’s not all pulling beers,” she said.
