The Killers to headline the AFL’s grand final entertainment?

It’s begun!

The speculation surrounding who’ll headline this year’s AFL grand final entertainment is well and truly in full swing.

The Rumour File was told on Tuesday morning American indie rock stars The Killers were at the top of the AFL’s wish-list.

Mitch Cleary confirmed that news on Sportsday.

“They have a diary free from August onwards,” he said on 3AW.

“These guys are a big deal.”

Caroline Wilson says the band would be a “great get” for the AFL, if it could land them.

“I love The Killers,” she said.
