The latest on the mid-air jet collision in Port Phillip Bay

Authorities are continuing a search and rescue operation off the Victorian coast this morning after a jet crashed into the water in Port Phillip Bay yesterday afternoon.

Two privately owned Viper jets were on a flight over the bay when the aircraft collided mid-air.

Today reporter Christine Ahern is in Mount Martha this morning and gave the latest details on the incident.
