The latest on whether The Ashes will be going ahead

The England Cricket Board remains at loggerheads with Australia over the quarantine conditions players will be under when they arrive for The Ashes this summer, leaving iconic cricket series up in the air.

But veteran cricket reporter, Malcolm Conn, told 3AW it was a lot of posturing.

“To be quite frank, it’s a lot of annoying whinging,” he said on Sportsday.

“If they want to enforce a classic stereotype of the ‘whinging Pom’, well their cricketers are doing it for them.”
