The lessons Georgie Purcell wants others to learn following Photoshop image saga
Animal Justice MP Georgie Purcell hopes media outlets will take lessons from a saga which saw a digitally-altered image of her used in a news bulletin and across digital channels on Monday.
Nine, the owner of 3AW, released on a statement on Tuesday, blaming a AI Photoshop filter for the error.
“It’s been the most chaotic 48 hours of my life and I’m looking forward to a rest, but I’m doing OK,” Ms Purcell told Jacqui Felgate on 3AW Drive.

“I’ve had an outpouring of support from the community, but I’ve also had some really awful comments and frankly things that would never be said to male MPs.”
