Following the news the Logies are set to be relocated, Ross and John put the matter to a jury of callers.

It comes after the Victorian government announced it will pull the event’s $1 million funding, meaning Melbourne will no longer host the event.

Ross’s argument that the Logies should go was voted for unanimously.

Juror Brian strongly agreed with Ross.

“If it was a choice between watching the Logies or watching Neighbours, I’d sell the television,” Brian said.

News Corp National TV writer Colin Vickery told 3AW Breakfast he believed the event was let go because it doesn’t draw tourists to Melbourne.

“I gather that the government like events like the Grand Final or Australian Open where a lot of tourists come into town,” Colin said.

“That doesn’t happen with the Logies.”
