A major change is coming to MCG parking from Saturday.

In a statement, the Melbourne Cricket Club says it has “made this move to elevate the game day experience for everyone attending major events at the MCG”.

Neil Mitchell says it’s “got stuff up written all over it”.

“What if you prebooked and it’s been raining all night and the car park is closed? Well they say they will refund the money, we know how that works with Ticketek,” he said.
