The man Grant Thomas wants to coach St Kilda

Former St Kilda coach Grant Thomas says the Saints should be doing everything possible to get Luke Beveridge to replace Brett Ratten as coach.

Beveridge, who played at St Kilda, is contracted as coach of the Western Bulldogs, but Thomas told 3AW Afternoons he would be doing whatever he could to convince Beveridge to coach the Saints.

“I’d be going down and putting him in a full-nelson and telling him that’s what he’s doing, and making it happen, because I think he’s an outstanding candidate,” he said.
