Tom Elliott has said federal and Queensland public service staff who have taken leave from work over the result of the Voice to Parliament referendum need to “build a bridge and get over it.”
Staff who are upset by the results have been allowed to take five days off with full pay.
“It is the most extraordinary thing, I mean, where is the resilience of the current-day generation?” he said.
