The moment Nathan Coulter-Nile found out he was taken in the IPL auction

Nathan Coulter-Nile is a happy camper.

The Western Australian pace bowler has just been snapped up in the Indian Premier League auction.

IPL club Royal Challengers Bangalore picked up Coulter-Nile, 30, for the handsome fee of $426,800.

It was a proud moment for Coulter-Nile, an expert commentator for Macquarie Cricket during the fifth ODI between Australia and England.

“It’s good reward for putting in the hard yards,” he told Ian Chappell shortly after the news was announced.
