Tom Elliott has hit out at a “nasty” protest planned to be held outside of a synagogue in Caulfield tonight.
The 3AW Mornings host thinks this protest proves why there needs to be a protest permit in Victoria.
“This is unnecessarily inflammatory,” he said.

“There is nothing good that is going to come out of a pro-Gaza, free Palestine protest taking place outside a synagogue,” he said.
“Can you imagine if you had a pro-Israel protest outside a mosque somewhere in suburban Melbourne? Do you reckon that’d be allowed to happen? I don’t think so.”
Senior Rabbi of Caulfield Shule, Daniel Rabin, said the planned protest outside of his synagogue is “not Australian” in his view.
“To come and cause intimidation right in front of a place of worship I think is totally inappropriate,” Mr Rabin told Tom Elliott.
