The new generation ten dollar note has been unveiled by the RBA
The RBA has unveiled the latest generation of $10 notes.
The note will be issued into circulation from September this year.
It has many security features, including a hidden print that can only been seen under UV light.
In a statement, Governor Philip Lowe says:
‘The $10 banknote celebrates two famous Australian writers, Dame Mary Gilmore and AB ‘Banjo’ Paterson. Their work is recognised in several design elements on the banknote, including images of a pen nib in two of the clear windows and excerpts of their poetry in microprint.’
