A new report that investigates Australian democracy and public opinions towards the system has delivered a result that Tom Elliott found “disturbing”.

“Apparently, here in Australia, we are not such big fans of democracy,” he said.

“If you’re not a fan of democracy, what do you propose instead? Is it a type of socialism? Is it a dictatorship? Is it anarchy? I don’t know, but these numbers are pretty disturbing.”
