Australia will conduct its first uterus transplants, as early as next year.

It shapes as a gamechanger for reproduction in Australia.

Neil Mitchell asked Dr Rebecca Deans, Adolescent Gynaecologist at Sydney’s Royal Hospital for Women, whether it would open the door for those born male to give birth.

“It’s definitely biological possible,” she said.
