The personal hospital experience that left Jacqui Felgate ‘quite surprised’

Jacqui Felgate received an email today informing her that a procedure she was booked in for at Cabrini Hospital will have to be moved to another hospital, and she was taken aback by the reasoning.

“In this day and age I was quite surprised,” the 3AW Drive host said.

Federal member for Kooyong and paediatric neurologist, Dr Monique Ryan, says it’s a “really problematic” situation.

“The federal government shouldn’t be providing financial support to hospitals which are then picking and choosing which aspects of healthcare they feel comfortable providing,” she told Jacqui Felgate.
