‘The place is a ghetto’: Jacqui Felgate SLAMS several appalling crime stories

Jacqui Felgate has slammed several appalling crime stories that’ve occurred over the last few days across Melbourne.

From machete brawls to fake firearms to elderly people being struck, it led the 3AW Drive host to compare Melbourne to a “ghetto”.

“It is not even close to good enough,” Felgate said.

Eyewitness Michelle, who saw the elderly woman get hit by an e-scooter at high speed at a crossing in Niddrie on Friday, told Felgate it was “disgusting” to see and has had trouble sleeping since witnessing the incident.

“I couldn’t believe it,” Michelle said on 3AW Drive.
