Matthew Lloyd wants another committee.

Lloyd told 3AW Football it’s time the AFL considered the future of footy on the Gold Coast.

Now in their eighth season, the Suns have never finished higher than 12th on the ladder.

To add insult to injury, former Suns like Josh Caddy, Jaeger O’Meara, and Charlie Dixon are starring at other clubs.

“It’s time we put a committee together… and say ‘what are we going to do about this club?'” Lloyd said.

“Can we ever see a day where they’re prospering?

“This is as big an issue as the state of the game.”

Lloydy said it is telling that the Suns paid “way overs” for Lachie Weller.

“In their desperation to have a young kid who was willing to go there, they did it.”
