State business groups are set to launch a High Court challenge against Victoria’s controversial working-from-home laws.

3AW Mornings host Tom Elliott raised concerns about the legislation.

Press PLAY to hear why he thinks working-from-home arrangements should remain a private matter

“I think it should be a private matter between employers and employees,” he said.

Chief Executive of the Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sally Curtain, had a “very strong message” after Premier Ben Carroll announced the laws would be passed this week.

“We have consistently raised concerns about the process on this bill,” Ms Curtain told Jacqui Felgate on 3AW Drive.

“Overall, there is no benefit to Victoria, and particularly to the economy.”
