Finnish nuclear campaigner Tea Tormanen has claimed Australians should embrace nuclear energy moving forward.

Ms Tormanen is a member of Finland’s Green Party, and will be meeting with local Greens politicians whilst visiting Australia to talk about a potential move to nuclear energy, with Tom Elliott claiming it makes sense and is refreshing to hear.

“You have a lot of uranium, why not use it, it would be very good for Australia I think,” Ms Tormanen told Tom Elliott, filling in for Neil Mitchell.
