The push for ‘graphic’ warning images on soft drink
There are calls for graphic warning images to be put on soft drinks to deter people from buying them.
It comes on the back of a push for a sugar tax.
Unsurprisingly, both have the support of the Obesity Policy Coalition.
Executive Manager Jane Martin said consumers needed to be given more information about the health risks associated with drinking sugary drinks.
“People don’t know how much sugar is in these drinks,” she said.
