The Queensland licence renewal idea that has the approval of experts

Queensland drivers could be made to retake their drivers test in order to renew their licence.

Founder and chief executive officer of the Australian Road Safety Foundation, Russell White,  says Queensland is on to something with the idea.

“It is that extra layer that people are going to have to go through, but I think if we look at it … not so much as a test, but I think, lets use it as an opportunity for some coaching,” he told Tom Elliott.
